Felt Moon & Stars

My daughter loves saying good night to this moon and stars at night..
very easy to make.. whipped this up in just around an hour.. hand embroidered the faces, and stitched the edges together with a sewing machine and stuffed with poly-fiber.. hanged it on the wall near the bed and stuck some glow in the dark stars as well....

3 wee dolls

This project was actually made by mother more than me.. i just helped... # cute dolls tucked inside their very own adjoining sleeping bags..
 Sleeping.. Hiding...
All cozily rolled up...

Teacher's Day Gift

I made these chocolate pencils for my daughter to give to her teacher's at her nursery...
so easy... couldn't belive how quick they were made..

All you need is some colored card stock and glue.. for the chocolate i used Toblerone and Hershey's kisses..
I made 4 as they were so quick to make.. :)

Playhouse

I finally finished this big project i was working on.... :)
A playhouse fro my daughter.. she was telling me since quite some time now that she wanted a house..
she says that bring some fabric and do some stitch stitch and make... ok!! kids think everything is so easy right?!!
anyways i finished it today after around 12 days of working on this...
will be giving it to her tom cant wait for her reaction...
I made a rolling door.. which can be closed like this... if she wants to hide inside or something :)
Pot of tulips with removable tulips obviously... made of felt and pipe cleaners.. was a bit reluctant to use pipe cleaners for this but it turned out great..
MAIL BOX... with blue and purple mails inside... the lid stays shut with Velcro...

this side has a window, with curtains, and hanging watering can..
which can be removed like this so she can give water to her plants and flowers...
This side of the house is the most interesting... with an apple tree, which can be removed and put in the basket..
 And a vegetable garden..
with Felt Vegetables.. 3 carrots, 2 potatoes and 1 lettuce.. which are inside the soil pockets..
And now they are out...

Cant wait to give her tomorrow..
Any comments are welcome...

2nd Birthday party at my daughter's nursery..

I liked the first cake so much that i made a second cake similar to the first one for my daughter's birthday party at her nursery.. but i added books, apples, rulers, color pencils and scissors to transform it into a more school themed cake rather than just art...
cup cakes.... again with pencil or crayons..
individually packed the cupcakes in their cases to give out to the kids in her class, her teachers and other play school staff..

Artsy party

This years theme was ART party..
was fun to prepare for it as well as the party itself..
These are the party favors.. put neatly inside crayon-shaped gift bags..
We gave art aprons to the older kids 2-years and above and personalized bags to younger infants..
and novelty shaped homemade crayons..
These are the side walk chalks we made... sadly i don't have a photo after removing the paper tube..
Pinata in which rather than beating it up u just put your finger inside to recieve your gift :)
finger painting.. these are actually edible. and the taste rather well... will be posting the recipe for these finger paints as well..
The crayons we made using chocolate plastic molds..
melting crayons and pouring it in the molds was really fun and satisfying..
No party is complete without party hats and party blowers right?!!
finally the party cake... was pleased with the result.. 100% edible.. paint tubes, brushes, palette, crayons, pencils, and even the name plaques are all food coloring and fondant..
